This project named “D-Island, discovery” was made during artist Jin Jing's residency at EKWC(European Ceramics Work Center) in 2011.
Jin Jing created a fake archaeological discovery event about an island that sank into the Pacific Ocean billions of years ago, named silmply "D". Jin's work involved making fossils of creatures and tools which showed the possible existence of a civilization of this island, alongside real under-sea archaeological research.
The result of this project was end up as a form of “Archaeology Museum”
