At the corner not far away
standing a few people, looking at me
One of them is pointing at me
says to others
“Let’s figure out how she will make it!”
“The Sudden Voice-over” is a combination of photographic works, mechanical installation, text, and space. When exhibited, it will be adjusted and refactored according to concrete space atmosphere. The text is included in is a publication composed of poems, 《He Will Know Himself Knows Nothing After He Knows》written from 2011 to 2012. In those two years, I lived alone in a in a strange city of a foreign country. I recorded those slightly neurotic subtle experiences, and wanted to use words to explore the connection and integration between the individual and the surrounding world.
"Language" and "feeling" are mutually generated and transformed. The moment the language is spoken, it is to peel off the cocoon in the fog of thought, catching the cunning "enemy" that escapes. The moment the language escapes from the lips is to pull a thread in the fog of thought, and catch the cunning "enemy" that escaped, enter a certain deja vu emotional space.
